Link Piramid - What i do wrong ?

This is my link piramid setup:

Tier1 links consist of : web20 posts, 400 sponsored reviews, forum posts / profiles. Tier 1 links have around 20 diferent anchor texts like widgets, blue widgets, red widgets online, etc. All links in this tier have been indexed by G and are around 6-12 months old.

Tier2 is: Xrumer blasts to Tier1. Each xrumer post has 6 - 10 links pointing to tier1 with also 20-30 anchor texts.

So far i've build around 50 000 posts on tier2 and all i can see is DROP in the serps. Massive drop -100, the site had been sitting high in the serps for months.

Any idea why it looks like my link piramid failed ?

You have probably used xrummer to much. Xrummer is a mass spam/submission tool. If you abuse it you will get caught out and receive a penalty.

Why did my money site dropped ? I would imagine tier1 sites beeing hit by G.

Good point. But to be fair G are pretty clever and not getting any less clever. Maybe we are not giving them enough credit and they have joined the dots and figured out your pyramid?? That is pure speculation but scary if true!!

How do you guys build ya piramids ? How many links / day you shoot at tiers ?

I can't answer this as I don't use pyramids specifically just a few bookmarking sites to bookmark all my PR and articles. Just try to keep it natural looking and sustainable. For example dont blast 50,000 links in one day and then sit back and do nothing for 2 weeks. Build it up slowly and never stop. Sustainability and natural emulation is the key for you.

Don't jump to conclusions, I would be a tad surprised if you had got rumbled in some way (though not totally impossible I suppose). It could be something totally unrelated or random. But that means sitting it out and seeing what happens, not much else to do...

Could do this as anything oyu do now could just as easily make it worse No harm in building a few manual high quality backlinks with your time if you are going to wait it out though.
