I have a one-page blog that sells auto-parts for Honda and on my site, I have a list of parts that I sell etc. and it goes like the following; H001 - Honda ABC H002 - Honda XYZ H003 - Honda UOP You get the idea. After finishing that page, I realized that the keyword density for "Honda" is 10% and it seems ridiculous for SEO. However, at the same time, I want to keep the word Honda, simply because if people search for it on Google, the exact phrase will show up. Can someone please give me some suggestions on this? Thanks |

2% to 3% is enough...but 10% is way too much

I understand. That is why i am thinking of an idea to lower it, while keeping those long tail keywords "H001 - Honda ABC" etc. |

It is natural for your keyword to be repeated more than 10%, since your niche is Auto parts, the word "honda" will naturally repeated, nevertheless if you are selling also toyota, and mitsubishi part, a good solution is put some description on the parts so that it will lessen the density of the word honda.

Yeah I agree with casinodeck. The fact that you are dealing with a brand name gives you more leeway with keyword density since it will be repeated in the product names and listings, but in all other non brand name cases as the other members posted 2-3% is a safe figure to stick with.

10% is high, but (recently) google takes other sites in the niche/market into account. So if the big authority sites have a high kd as well, then you shouldn't be hurt too bad. -Matt |
