I am currently ranking #1 for my main keyword on my homepage. I want to change some of the content on my inner pages. Will this affect my main page results?

Hi bigballin6161, It is impossible to say without having more specific information. If you a currently have internal links that change it could very well affect your homepage, either negatively or positively. If your internal pages have PageRank and you change the URL structure you may lose some of the link juice that your internal pages are passing to your homepage. As long as you pay attention to the above factors then you can make changes that improve your homepage ranking strength rather than hinder it. |

| Well there is really an effect on your homepage when changing contents for your inner pages. But for most of the time, if you want to change your content to make a more quality one, then it is just okay to change your contents even when your homepage is affected. In the long run, you might get more something in return when you effectively had changed your inner pages contents.
