How do people get these types of uncontextualized backlinks in the homepage?

Keyword is "silicone bracelets"

I mean, the website obviously doesn't just talk about silicone bracelets. As a matter of fact, they look like random, ill-maintained websites just for dropping links. The sites don't even have much PR.

The effectiveness of these BLs are debatable. But I was just wondering how people do this? Are there softwares or services out there that provide this type of backlinks? I want to know so I can test it myself.

Any reference to actual website URLs or services or methodologies are highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

I have the same kind of advertisers on my other blogs,. They are from textlinksads

This is howit works.. When you sign up to textlinkads as a publisher, you will get asked where you want to put your ads on yoursite,. Beit blogroll, body context, footer etc.. You then install a wordpress plugin and they can place advertisers' link to your site

Thanks jacaranda9dbux, that's looks like it indeed. Do you know of any more services like this? Text-link-ads seems to be more careful and contextualized with their system, while the list I showed earlier just look spammy.

I'm more interested as an advertiser actually, not a publisher. I'm just wondering how effective these types of backlinks are in terms of SEO power so I want to test different services.
