I get that all the time. I don't know wtf they are doing around there at Google but I think they are having a larf at us every time i see one of those.

Sometimes I see it in sanskrit, or even upside down. sometimes its just symbols I cannot make out.. They are laughing at us!! Evil google monkeys

This is totally rubbish! Sometimes the captcha is totally unreadable, you've brought up a nice example.

Actually, that's just a trick.

Sometimes you get Chinese, random characters, unreadable crap in the captchas..

You dont have to type them actually. Just type the word that is beside them (the readable one) and you will pass the captcha.

The weird, random, chinese, sanskrit characters are there to trick auto decaptchers into typing something, whereas a smart person would try to ignore those chars first.

Try it the next time and you might be surprised by the results..

Or you could just refresh untill it displays something you can read. Which sometimes takes a few goes

You only need to get one set of the word right, either the left side or right side, so not much effect here. :P

I got squares, triangles, the font that is in shapes, and even something that looked like an apple or orange before..

When i see that , what i simply do is to refresh the image and get a new readable one.

Yeah, you can type anything in its place. I didn't know you could ignore it.
