Default How do I use videos for SEO?

I have heard videos can be great for SEO, so I have decided to make some, what is the best way to use videos for SEO?

Also, how do you add links a youtube video? I have a link on my youtube profile, but is there anyway to add links to the video itself?

Yes, but how does that help -- and how do you do that?

photos and images looking for pictures?

If you create kick ass value in your videos and begin to gain a following, you'll get links! I'd recommend NOT using Youtube though as people may link to your Youtube video and not your blog or website.

Find a source in which you can embed and force people to link to you.

Also remember that you should transcribe the video fro additional readable/crawlable text on the page. That will help add to the value of your site tremendously and help your onsite content as well.

OP go to youtube, shoot a video of anything. Make the title, keywords, tags etc your keyword or keywords.

Then click the share button and go to embed. Simply place the video on the page you are SEO.

Be sure to make the link back to your site from the video your anchor text as well

So it sounds like the main benefit you get from a video is really having people view it and hope that they'll go to your site?

videos can help your actual website but it must be high quality and of value. as far as SEO I am not sure expect the back links we hope to get. but you can hope all day and get very little back links.
