Default What's the going Rate for TRUE High-PR Backlinks?

Do people still sell individual High-PR backlinks?

I'm not talking about the trickle-down PR links where the root domain may have a PR7 or PR8 rating but the profile page where your link ends up is a PR0. I'm talking about TRUE High PR links where the rating of the actual page your link is on scores at PR6 or PR7.

If so, what's the going rate for PR5, PR6, and PR7 links?

There's a Link Exchange section here -- I would check that, or browse the WSO section, there always seem to be a number of backlink-related WSOs going on.

Absolutely!

Most of the time though these links can get expensive. I've created a solution to that by offering access to my private network of high PageRank homepage links.

You can also buy these type of links individually using link brokers and the like. Big problem though is that they'll often sell to anyone so you may be smashed between a nice Viagra and Gambling link.

Individual services that I'd recommend, linkworth, text-link-ads are two of the better ones.

The going rate varies according to the seller.

Often the rate is determined as much by "supply and demand" and the value that the seller puts on his/her Internet property, as it is by other factors.

I think it depends on several factors, such as how much has the seller charged in the past.

If you are speaking of finding relevant high PR homepage backlinks, you are going to get a range of different costs.

In my experience, unless I am dealing with an actual high PR homepage backlink network where you pay a flat monthly fee for links on UNRELATED sites, your going to pay a variety of prices.

Want to make sales? Build relationships. Think about it.

It's not just a high PR page link. It's about a high PR relevant,
and contextual link. I charge $30-$100 a month for those.

And people are glad to pay it.

Insist on contextual and single page links. That is, it must be
in a sentence in the content, high up on the page, and just
on that one page, not site-global.

If the content isn't related, but it's in-context and the page has high-PR....would people be interested in that?

For instance, if you were looking to boost a site for the term "BBQ Grill" and I dropped a link for someone on a political page and wedged the link in the midst of the relavent comment like this:

"blah blah blah...sure it's true that we all would like to see some major changes to the nation's health care system, but the courts are never going to allow the President and his legislature to force Americans to buy something and penalize them if they do not. I was talking to my neighbor about this just yesterday while cooking up some steaks on my BBQ grill and he doesn't see the significance of the point, but it seems pretty clear to me. Don't hold your breath on this one. When 2014 rolls around, I doubt we'll see any significant changes."

...notice how the link was in-context, but the content of the page wasn't directly related to the subject of BBQ Grills. I personally think that having the link on a related-content page is still a very low factor in the overall effect of the backlink. It still seems that the authority of the root domain and ESP the authority of the referring page seem to trump all other factors....even anchor text.

I find these types of links all the time while boosting my own site and was thinking of selling them for a one-time fee of $40 - $60. No recurring fee. If there's a market for it, I'll throw up a WSO. I'd only need to sell about 20 p/week in order to make a good little side-income for myself.
