Lightbulb I notice MANY of you are Damaging your own SEO...

Guys, okay...

I see this all the time all over the forum and I'm just gonna keep this one short:

SPUN CONTENT

Spinning is bad mkay, well, unless you have a PROPER tool (not the hypie ones, I wont mention names)

If you spin an article, make sure it is below 30% AT LEAST (check on copyscape)

AUTO-PUBLISHING ROBOTS

Yay! Tons of backlinks! BAD BAD BAD, you'll get slapped so fast you wont know WHAT hit you.

Most of these robots allow just any articles in there, some even 100% matching on other sites. If you are a bit lazy or want content for your site that WONT damage SEO, get it from seolinkvine.com by brad callen.

These are quality articles which are WELL spun and wont hurt (very unlikely). I suggest avoiding all these "amazing robots"

POSTING BACKLINKS MANUALLY

DO NOT post on blogs which are irrelevant to your own niche, this will confuse the Google spiders, and boy they sure don't like that and you might just get a fat SLAP.

Post on RELEVANT blogs which are SIMILAR to your own blog, this is another thing Robots don't quite get.

Anyhoo, that's all for now

1. WRONG
2. ROFL - Have you seen the spun garbage that people put into that?
3. WRONG - RELEVANCY has meant almost nothing, domain authority has.

Really? How many times could you possibly contradict yourself in a single post?

While I'm sure you had good intentions, its posts that these that get my blood boiling and here is why.

You tell us that tons of backlinks is "BAD BAD BAD", yet you suggest using SEOLinkvine's services. Have you actually used there services? Have you seen the quality of these blogs that you get links from? I have and let me tell you they are NOTHING special. In my 6 month membership with SEOLinkvine I had 2 links from blogs with ANY PageRank. Keep in mind I submitted content for a ton of different niches and a lot of my posts had incredible content. Sure I got tons of links, but none of them were quality.

I'd put these "amazing robots" in the same boat as SEOLinkvine, the difference being that many of these "amazing robots" aren't charging you monthly.

Don't get me wrong, I am not advocating using these robots since there about as useful as SEOLinkvine.

DO NOT post on blogs which are irrelevant to your own niche, this will confuse the Google spiders, and boy they sure don't like that and you might just get a fat SLAP

Really? If thats the case wy are you offering the following service
"Over 6000+ High PR (1-9) backlinks per month, every month! Affordable, Most Effective SEO Service Out there! "

These links aren't gonna be relevant, so why are you offering this service if they could experience a "big fat slap"?

The point is this, Google's not gonna slap your domain for getting irrelevant links. Maybe irrelevant links aren't gonna get you much targeted traffic, but they sure as heck aren't gonna ruin your rankings either.

Sorry for going off on a tangent here but I'm seeing more and more nonsense being thrown around as fact and its no help to those just starting out in SEO.

I would agree with the spun content, even if it doesn't negatively affect your SEO, the internet is already overloaded with crap content that's so obvious it was spun.

Now I'm sure some people actually put time into properly editing the spun article, but most don't and they never make any sense.

I love spinning content. It works great! But I do it manually...

and the whole relevancy thing? I agree with the others, it hardly plays a role and you won't get slapped.

It's up to Google to determine if your website is crap.

I'd rather have one page of quality content that web visitors need than having 100 pages of useless crap.

I like the line about confusing google spiders.

Of course, just think how the "google spiders" must go butt-over-

Boxing gloves anyone? Guys I didn't mean to offend you guys, I'm trying to give some decent advice here. I have multiple page 1 rankings (and im sure you do too) on various blogs.

These are merely things I've tried and tested myself, what personally works and what doesn't, for me. Hey dont listen, thats great.

A. Yes I also use spinners (who doesn't), but I'm also an editor for an article directory with clear instructions to add nofollow/noindex tags to any posts that have 70% or more, meaning your links are useless, I'm sure some of the most popular directories are more strict, but below 30% is good.

B. Yes I do use SEOLinkvine, but that gives you the option to reject articles that aren't spun properly, plus you get to approve them first if you wish, which not all robots do. I mean, sure you can go delete them afterwards but hey.

C. Yes I have a link building service, giving 6000+ links PER MONTH (and yes they are all relevant to your niche by the way). What I'm referring to is posting 6000 links per day, THAT'S not going to do you any good. Wanna try it? Get SENuke X and blast a few articles for let's say, 1000 links, give it a month (probably less) and see what happens.

D. I get it, you're all smarter than me. High five. I'm not here to make enemies guys, I'm here to help however I can, that's the honest truth.

If you don't agree with my post, say so and state your reasons, no need to be a-holes you know, c'mon, we're not kids.

These were merely MY OWN findings over the past few years. Do what you will, I could care less, but don't come here and insult me when I have only good intentions.

If you want to follow my advice, great, if not, listen to the other million "gurus" on here who have never made regular sales (once again, not pointing fingers at any of you guys with the posts above).

Ultimately, it is your site, your money, YOUR SEO, not mine.

I disagree. A backlink is a backlink. Will spinning it more help? Yep. But the links are far from worthless, even if if its 0% unique.

You are very right about backlinks sir. There are people who argues that google doesn't care if the site your putting your links on are relevant to your site or not.

Also, is it ok if you have no follow links?

Yes it okay. In fact, its bad if you don't have a natural balance of dofollow and nofollow.

Spun articles are ok, just maintain a certain degree of originality, I usually The Best Spinner this software to spin articles and post them to tons of free article directories.

LOL! With that smile, are you "getting off" or getting off?

This forum is golden for people who can wade through the BS. I don't
agree with everyone. But I'll tell you what. Even those who I have disagreed
with in the past I know I learned at least one thing that has helped my
bottom line.

But there's real disagreements and then there's BS. There is a difference.
