Google 4 place 1st page - Got decent Traffic but not converting...any sugestions?

Hi

Got first page and some decent traffic but not converting at all and dont know why cause keywords got buyer traffic!

dont have a clue why this is happening...using amazon has i didnt know a proper way to work with google ads "i have a aprooved account there"

any help will do...

you can watch on your conversion, because the traffic alone is an analogy of the left foot, and the right foot is conversion (you need both legs for running)...

Conversion is the ad placing, your content, etc

jcdmp, just curious how much traffic you are getting? Also, I think you are in a very competitive market.
I would think about removing the banner at the top of your page (to the right of your logo). It comes off as a sales page and no one is going to click that banner anyway(jusy my opinion). Maybe put it at the bottom of the page or add another square at on the l/h side where all your other ads are. You could then put something to introduce your site, or peak my interest and make me want to look further. Catch my eye and I'll stay, if I smell a hard sell I'm leaving to go find good content and answers to my questions/needs.

Nicole, thats very true. If you have someone land at your page and it looks like an advertising page people will leave. If you provide interesting content -- IE a reason to stay, then they will

try to change top-right banner to adsense ad. I think that repair manual is not the best way to monetize such site. Of course if your main keywords are not like "repair sewing machine" etc..

Hey! Nice website you have there

I would consider adding more posts, and using adsense in the sidebar.

The repair manual isn't doing much good, you're selling sewing machines on Amazon just stick with that for now.

The one thing I would recommend you do in your reviews is use text links to link to Amazon.
