To comment on a keyword luv blog, do you need to have the keyword luv plugin installed on the site which you enter in the URL box when making the blog comment? I ask because I tried to comment on some keyword luv blogs today, but when I clicked the keyword luv box before submitting the comment it said "No posts found". Does this mean it can't find any keyword luv comments on my site or something along these lines? |

No. But it needs to be able to pull something like an rss feed from a blog or something similar. If your site is a blog, it probably does this automatically. If not, there are many ways to turn any page into an rss feed. Free. Just google it. A little trick for squidoo, is that squidoo gives you an rss feed link for any lens. So can go to your lens, get the link, and plug this in! I have used this many times for commentluv as well. Paul |

Like paul said, you need an rss feed yes. Comment Luv is a great way to get backlinks because you know the people with it on their sites WANT comments and they are willing to give you links for them! hint: use a footprint to search out comment luv sites to comment on. |

My site uses pages, not posts so I don't use the built in RSS feed, instead I create a feed with feedage using html2rss. Would it not work with a feedage RSS feed? Do you need one which is built into WordPress such as the one at the url www.domain.com/feed What do you mean by "use a footprint to search out comment luv sites to comment on." Can you explain that further. Thanks. |

I don't know what he means by footprint, but he's right about it being good for getting backlinks. You just have to make sure not to spam the crud out of the blogs, or your posts won't stay there long, if they get posted at all. Make meaningful, relevant posts and you can't go wrong.

You actually need to either have a blog to comment on blogs which are using luv script or simply have the RSS feed on your site and there is no need to make big changes to your web structure, simply add RSS feeds to your site. Simply enter RSS on Google and you will find the Wikipedia page which explains how easy it is to add a new RSS to your site. Then when you intend to leave comments on blogs, the luv script will find the feed on your site and you will be allowed to leave the comment very easily. |
