Default How have you Dealt with the Google Panda Updates?

Hi guys,
Just thought I should start a thread about the Panda updates and what effects it has had on your website if any? Also, what have you done about it?

I think it would be a good learning experience for all here at the Warrior Forum...

Cheers :-)

Johan

Hi Johan,

Since the Panda Update devalues poor quality content, I like everyone else have seen my own pages improve in SERP rankings, excepting those with low quality content of course.

It seems to have only been detrimental to those that used poor quality content in some way.

Panda updates does not affect my site. I have a autopilot site that got affected due to poor content. The lesson I learn here is that, never try to fool Google. As a result, I focus in writing good contents now and planning to abandon my autopilot site.

My sites all went up when Panda came out.

Like everyone else said, panda just got rid of crappy sites from the top ranks. They didn't belong there anyway.

Another success story, basically all of my sites rose due to the crappy sites getting devalued.

Google loves good quality, unique content even more than before and this includes both on your page and you your backlinks source pages.

Diversity is another key component of great rankings these days. Basically blasting all your backlinks through a single automation tool is a very poor way of backlinking these days.

Curiously most of my sites received a page rank boost but at the same time they drop in the SERP's..

My websites have started ranking higher because of the Panda update. I think only those websites went down which either had a lot of duplicate content, no content or just had a lot of empty profile or auto-blog backlinks pointing back to them.

But then again, I have heard news of crappier websites moving to the top so the Panda has been a bit of a menace.
