Default Is there any worth in buying profile backlinks?

Profile backlinks are so economically priced...is there any worth in buying them? Has anyone seen a boost in thier rankings after a purchase of them?

Common opinion is that they've lost a lot of value. They may still be decent for getting higher quality backlinks indexed. But beyond that? I'm not sure.

Any link that is on a page that is indexed and ranked has value.

Most profile links are not indexed.

It has must less value now due to the recent panda updates. However, it can still be part of your link building strategy but don't expect to get much from it. I was even surprise to learn that using article marketing for back links has less value too now. Consider blogging, participating in forums with your anchor text in your sig and a few others.

They contribute to the diversity of your overall backlinks profile and in that make it look natural in big G´s eyes.

Good thing is that hey are very easy to obtain and add good volume to your backlinking strategy.

Having a few sprinkled into your link mix help but as a whole profile link have lost their effectiveness.

I use them now solely to get better backlinks indexed. Linking to the links works.

I got a popular Fiverr gig recently to test it out on one of my small sites. It was predominately (if not all) profile links. It massacred my rankings. I wouldn't use more than a few, especially as tier one links.

I see a lot of people say this, and I just completely disagree. I highly doubt that the lack of profile links makes Google think anything unnatural is going on with a site.

I'd recommend these type of links for solely tier 2 or lower supporting backlinks.

Its easier to push your domain into a Google dance through these type of links when you are sending them directly to your money site.

Sending them to lower tiers allows you to get a higher percentage of those links indexed, which in turn can help your money site.

The main problem I experienced with profile links that they disappear from index pretty quick. It's good to add them in your link building strategy, but dont spend too much time on it. 1 good link from relevant, trusted source is much more effective then 100 profile links.

They have almost no value now.
It text (content) links OR actual on page high pr links are best.
Of those 2 the real on page high pr links are best by far.
If you need a source of either you can get them in my sig,
Thanks, Patrick

Worthless after the panda update. It will have a very minimal impact on seo.

How many tiers does a backlink system contain?

I think single tier backlinks still work great as long as they are getting indexed. Indexing usually involves building more backlinks to backlink, that's a 2 tier for me.

Same here.

I've stopped using them altogether now as they're are actually hurting my rankings now.

Profile backlinks are not working right now. They do not indexed by search engine. They are west of time and money. For best utilize your time and money you should participate in forum discussion using your link in the signature. This will provide you direct visitors and good ranking in search result.
