Default co.cc domain banned in by google

To those who don't know this co.cc free domain sites are being banned and de-indexed by google. So you should expect like PR=0 and index=0. Since most of the co.cc sites and blogs were websites that have suspicious activities and sites that produce malwares and viruses.

Now here is my question is it still possible for this sites to regain the PR and index it lost. I mean I know there are good sites out there that are really capable of producing good information.

And also some blog that used the free domain of co.cc who were also affected can still be saved?

any advice would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

Thanks, this seems to be confirmed by numerous reports:

Ok ... here's the point that all the forum conversations about this subject have missed: it's one domain only, that Google has de-indexed.

Those free .co.cc "domains" are actually NOT domains at all: they're only sub-domains.

The "co" part in the name isn't like the "co" in ".co.uk": it's the domain-name, and only the ".cc" is the domain-extension.

So, yes, lots of people thought they had a "domain-name" and they were wrong: what they actually had was only a sub-domain on a domain that belonged to someone else. And when that one domain was de-indexed by Google (only one day after Matt Cutts had publicly announced that Google reserves the right to de-index domains they regard as spammy), a lot of people found that their sub-domains had obviously been de-indexed with it, just like the pages on any de-indexed site also disappear from Google's index.

Only if Google re-indexes the one domain it's de-indexed, .co.cc.

Nothing can happen on an "individual basis" to sub-domain "owners", because there's only one domain involved in the whole story, and just like any other domain, either it's indexed or it isn't.

Personally, I wouldn't be holding my breath for it to be re-indexed!

It looks like people whose businesses are dependent on being indexed by Google need to learn to use a site that they themselves own and control. Not a sub-domain on someone else's domain. Not a subdomain on .co.cc. Not a subdomain on .blogspot.com. Not a subdomain on .squidoo.com - that way, ultimately, for whatever different reasons, they're not in control of their own businesses.

Wow I hope you didn't own one of those sites!

No there is no turning back, Google will have to take out time and money to go an start finding and indexing the worthwile blogs and sites out of all the bad stuff on co.cc

And all that work for ZERO PROFIT.

I doubt Google will bother trying to save anything that has got co.cc on it.

lost one of my bigger sites, honestly my own fault, I should have had it on a .com it was one of my first sites, so I was just testing things out.

Oh well I am in the process of moving it.

thank you for all your reply. Since I had a blog site that was affected were in the PR went to 0 and also the index. I guess it requires a lot of work to rebuild it.
