|  Is placing google ads affects my website google rank
Hi to all, I own the website yoursitegraphics.com and it is now PR1. I didn't put any ads there and now I am planning to put some ads such as adsense. Would it make my website not get rank on google? A webmaster on other forum told me a year ago not to put any ads on my websites till it has rank on google. Let me know your experiences. |

Your website is already ranked by Google, so you can go ahead and monetize it with AdSense any time you want.

I would advise against placing ads on your site if it's only got a PR1. Advertising drains your site of page rank. If you care about page rank, don't put ads on your site until you have a PR3+ ... That's just my opinion, but there's more than one way to do things.

Adding the AdSense code to your site will not queue your pages for crawling by Google main index bots. While the bot does crawl content pages for the purpose of targeting ads, participation in AdSense does not increase the number of pages from a site in Google main index

I think it is effecting your rank a bit. People clicks on your ads and leave to other sites. Ain't that makes them bounce? so when more bounce, ur bounce rate is high and it effect ur site's ranking a bit. Correct me if i'm wrong...
