Can this site get 2800 page views per day? I am providing some data.

It is hosted on blogspot. Alexa rank near 30,00,000. Total 4 pages indexed and it has nearly 50 standard quality yahoo backlinks.

I am clearly stating that, this site is not mine. I just heard from a friend that, his site is getting 2800 PV daily, I have collected rest of the data.

It is very unlikely,however, the alexa data may be out of date or inaccurate. Alexa counts its visits using browser software than can be installed therefore not everyone has it so not every visit is counted.

This are insufficient data for such evaluation. If you can give us a link, I can instantly tell you if this is true or not...
Edit: And Pageviews are far from correct traffic (we need unique visitors), you can have 1000 PV if you go to your site by yourself a 1000 times per day...

With a alexa rank of 30,000,000 then 2800 page views would have to be generated by 1 or 2 people a day.

i have a blog that i no longer bother with and is at 13,000,000 on alexa. It gets 1 visit per day. I doubt any one person would hang around for 2800 page views unless it is the owner.

I only gave the likely answer as there is no definite 100% way to tell without looking at the server logs. Even google analytics can be inaccurate as some people disable javascript.

It depends on what sort of site it is and what market it is in. Also as said page views are irrelavent if there are not the Unique Visitors to go with it.

I can generate 5000 page views daily but I can not generate 10 bucks daily from ad sense. And for more information the CPC are very low.. That mean there are good number of UNIQUE VISITORS.

Oh, yes, of course you can, by cheating over proxies, or telling your firends to click on your ads. But this leads to AdSense ban... I doubt that site with 30.000.000 Alexa score has no more than 10-20 unique visitors per day...

To amend my answer from earlier i would say its possible, however without more information it is impossible to make an accurate assessment. Most of the previous points in the thread still apply, one user (the site owner) can generate most of the page views. There is no real way of knowing accurately without looking at the server logs like i said before.

Not even Alexa is that inaccurate. 2,800 visitors a day would almost inevitably yield an Alexa rating of at least 800k, probably less. The worst I've seen from Alexa was 2 million on a site getting 650 UV/day.

One of my friends blog is getting 8k visits per day it is just 15 days old blog. If you post images the the traffic comes regularly but you never get more money.

Very possible, i had a website with 3 pages that was hosted with blog spot getting nearly 3000 visitors a day let alone Page views. I kind of made the website as a joke, to prove some SEO skills to some of my clients, so it wasnt a paid domain, and ended up getting reported and removed for no reason.. sadly.. because it was making me $200-300 a day. Also it only had about 40 backlinks, but they were superrr high quality.

My site is ranking 1.9 million on alexa and getting 900-1000 visitors a day. So 2 million for a 650 UV/day website is normal.
