How to aim for single keyword

Hi, i hope i don't REopen this subject.

Can you guyz give me any advice on how to use SEO in order to aim a single keyword? I heard it's tricky.
Any tip is welcome.

Go through single keyword while executing your website bread crumbs and also migrate your single key phrase in website meta title, description, & keywords using content based on the same key phrase.

in google adwords , there is traffic estimator tool...try to find out best keyword with less competition..

If you are new to SEO, try targeting a low competitive keyword first - then medium competitive - to highly competitive keyword.

You can read SEO tutorials on how to start off your SEO and learn some techniques online..

If you are building a site aimed at just a single keyword you should make sure that the keyword is in your domain. An exact match domain is ideal but hard to come by these days.

Use the keyword naturally in just about every imaginable position. Make sure you don't over do it. And then submit to a number of sites for it.

What are breadcrumbs? I have a genesis framework and it asks me if I want to use that option. Have no clue what it means. I realize I could Google it but I thought someone could put it in like elementary terms for me.
