Traffic Travis

i want to try and rank in the top 10 for my keyword. there a couple sites with pr 0 none of them are listed in any directorys and the most backlinks one site has is 7. the other couplr have 33 and one has 100 backlinks. the domain age is 0? I used traffic travis and it says that it would be extremly difficult??? doesnt make sense.

When you say they have few backlinks you are referring to the page I am assuming. What about the domains? That can be a factor.

Also Traffic Travis's little easy, medium, hard, etc. thing is just a guide. It is not by any means 100% accurate.

its the root domain itself. the main page links 0 and total links to site is 0.

doesn't make sense to me either - it should say easy ... the thing you should look at aside from competitors and their backlinks is the search volume for this keyword - that's an important metric. Also it would help to calculate Keyword Efficiency Index for the keyword which is a relationship between search volume and competition and an indicator of the search term's SEO value
