What are your best seo strategies for a sales letter site or microsite?

I plan on having an articles link at the bottom of my site.

I am writing an article a week to distribute to ezine editors, article announcement sites and individual websites as part of my seo strategy.

The more pages you have the more chances you have to rank for your primary keyword phrase, and additional keywords. I did something similar to what you described with my latest sales letter. I used Wordpress to create the site so it made it easy to have a blog (or articles as you mentioned).

Sales letters can be difficult rank for specific keywords because many times the content on them aren't for the search engines but for humans such as personal stories and all that so you need PPC, Affiliates, Banner ads and all that

But microsites aren't difficult at all if you choose the EMD and do your due diligence and make sure to check the competition. Some of my microsites rank on page 1 with only a few backlinks sometimes none!
