Kindly tell me that what role does squidoo plays in the promotion of website . Someone told me that we an make the backlinks of our website through squidoo. Is it true. Is squidoo is a do-follow or no-follow

Yes, Squidoo is a site where you can create content and link to your sites. It used to be one of the best ways to get ranked on the first page of Google without much work but things have changed and Squidoo lost some power in the rankings but it still can be used to link to your sites.

its kind like a directory where many people goes..so by placing your content there..you are able to attract a few visitor and also the big G...

Squidoo is great to use in a linkwheel. And if its appealing too, you can get some traffic from there too.

I believe that Squidoo is no follow. You can also look at Hub Pages. Very similar and I believe it is do follow, but I a not 100% on that.
