Any luck with skyscrapers in widget area?

Have you guys had any luck with an Adsense skyscraper in the right widget area? I have a CPA offer there right now. It is getting a few clicks a day but it is not converting. What has been your experience with Adsense (image) Skyscrapers in the widget area? Has it been comparable to the text ads that are embedded in the content area?

To me, i think embed into top of each content is better... at least CTR is higher.
