Warriors, I already posted this before, but got two contrary replies so I need more help. I have a special directory where I post my articles to because I want to increase site's authority - this is what I thought, but after 3 months of posting an article once a week my website is still 500th in google (keywords are not really that competitive) and I am not too sure why. I have been looking into this so I created a subdomain as I thought that this could work better to improve the page rank of my site and push it up in google. What is your opinion, would extra directory or a subdomain work better for page authority? |

We did that over the last year on our main site with satisfactory results including pagerank on the subdomains.
