Hi, Can you help me with with issue My website was attacked with a virus! and google has index my php directories and scripts example: xyz dot com / enroll-now?x=security&d=%2fvar%2f & example: xyz dot com / enroll-now?x=security&d=%2fhome%2f How to remove the these pages from index they are almost 3380 pages! and i want to save my 20 product pages from de-indexing please help |

1) Remove the files from your server and ensure they return a valid 404 HTTP header 2) If your site overall gets de-indexed, submit a reconsideration request form on Google |

First, are you sure you were "attacked"? That does not look like any hack job, just php code for some type of form input. Why would you not want your directories indexed? Those are not separate pages. Everything after a "?" in a url is not a separate webpage. It's just passing code and is actually ignored by the browser. Try it yourself. You don't have 3380 different webpages. Go to warriorforum.com/?=nothing and see what site loads. I think you are confusing "indexing" with SERPs. Google isn't going to show anything in SERPs unless it's related to the search. Rarely do you have to worry. You could just delete the directory. But then, if you need the directory...why wouldn't google index a directory, assuming it's a normal directory? Google will index just about everything...no big deal. Paul |
