I am running a WordPress site. My hosting provider GoDaddy.com charges a fee for displaying Stats. I don't like to pay for stuff that is free evrywhere else, so I installed the Analytics For WordPress plugin. However, I kind of don't trust the data that the plugin sends to Google Analytics. So I thought of alternatives and I came by the Jetpack plugin for WordPress (actually, it was already installed in my WP Dashboard). How accurate is Jatpack? I mean, yeah, the data it provides is not as detailed as the crazy diagrams you get from Google Analytics, but it still gives all the basic information that you need - number of visits, keywords used to find your site, etc. Does the fact that your web site is cloud connected to WordPress.com via this cloud plugin affect your SEO rankings? I mean, what if you don't have a single post on your WordpPress.com blog? Will this be detected by Google and will your main site's ranking suffer from it? Anyone used it? Any reviews, tips, tricks, etc? Thanks! |
