I'm seeing more and more of sites like these with PR 4-5 providing links for my competition. Any idea where and/or who they are getting them from? Are they worth going after myself to compete? Moc2008.com - Celebrating a Year of Success - This is an example backlink linking to one of my competitors, I see several sites like this, for their backlinks. Here is another one: http://www.mediacraftmusic.com/ http://www.robpastore4congress.com/ |

I normally use links:thesiteurl, or IBP to check the sites backlinking. Once i find the info, i then visit them one by one to see how he has linked, if the site is do follow and the quality of the link. If they are worth a go, i either email and ask about backlinks or an exchange of links. The best way though is to create backlinks for yourself, find your niche and rceate quality content. Hope this helps you |

Yeh but if you look at these sites, their style is too similar. This leads me to believe, either these were purchased or they are in some kind of monthly program. I'm just curious which one it is....

If they're using a SEO company, then that SEO company may be giving them links from a private blog network.

I'd say your competition is outsourcing their link building to an SEO company. That company is then probably using a private network of high PR sites that they own to post to. I've used a linkbuilding company in the past that were able to produce similar links to that, and they were simply posting to sites that they owned in this way. Of course the other way is to buy and develop high PR domains yourself then build out a site like that with your links on. |

Any advice on the best place to buy high pr domains. How much do you really need to develop them? Could I buy a few high pr domains, install wordpress, and do a couple posts with links to my websites. Or would that send up red flags or cause the pr to drop. |
