Default Who do you outsource your BIG SEO projects to?

For those of you who outsource thousands of dollars for SEO, can you tell me who you outsource your big projects to? I'm looking for some advice or recommendations.

I have a website that needs a boost in rankings for a high competition keyword, and my budget is anything under $10,000. Does anyone (who has experience with this) have any advice for me?

Total, but I'm not posting this to look for a freelancer on here. I'm posting it to get recommendations from other outsourcers.

aren't outsourcers freelancers? I am not getting your firm distinction there and perhaps others aren't either

I outsource work to freelancers. Thus I am an outsourcer, because I don't do the work, I outsource it.

I think by outsourcers he means people who actually outsource the work.

Personally? I'd just do the on-page SEO myself (easy) and then sign up for BMR and get someone to do BMR posts for a low cost. Maybe get some drip feed scapebox links as well.

How competitive is your keyword? Specifics are useful here.

Also, I'd never really recommend outsourcing your entire SEO campaign.

With that kind of cash I would hire a consultant to consult you on the best practices for your keyword, and then simply outsource that work to the lowest bidder. That way you are in control of your SEO efforts, you know exactly what will bring you the best results and then you simply pay the lowest price to get the grunt work done.

Want to make sales? Build relationships. Think about it.

Hmmmm, the only thing is you can have those l numbers and still hit a snag at the top of the first page which is why I have never liked those metrics. Still for that kind of cash I would find get services not try to find someone who outsources the work but who does it themselves that s why I didn't really get the distinction.

I would do it on a Pay On Performance/Rank. If I rank, I pay, if not, I don't.

Josh,

I do SEO for large insurance companies, law firms and physicians; I've outsourced large volumes of work for these clients for the past several years.

My suggestion - Be very careful!

Eighty-plus per cent of the freelancers I've done rankings trials with are incapable of getting results in competitive markets. Some will even damage your website rankings permanently.

If you don't have the time or inclination to do months-long trials to select a good vendor then don't outsource SEO of an important site - the likelihood of a bad result is high.

PM if you want to talk further.

I'll give my 2 cents on this one.

1. Onsite SEO - Hire a individual and interview them. They can run reports, write, and edit the sites.

2. Offsite SEO - We use Scriptlance, SubmitEdge, and Sponsored Reviews.

If you know SEO, then you'll pick the right types of links. Don't spam the SE's, submit slowly, and build more content to the site.

Yep, that's how I work. What's the point of paying for something without results? If you have 10,000/mo to spend then you can get anything ranked, and that's a mixture of white hat SEO with advertising campaigns.

If you think physician/law sites are competitive, try sites with over a million back links. That's competitive.

Let me know if I can be of assistance to you. I'd be happy to take a look at the niche your in and help you out.
