Observing Clicks on Google Search Page

Hi I'm a newbie and need help on distinguishing the clicks on Google search page.

For example on the Google Search page. Websites Rank #1, Rank #2, #Rank3 and so on.

I want to know if there's anyway I can determine the visitors clicks on each websites rank on the first page.

Please help.

Determining the amount of clicks on an individual website isn't possible based solely on it's ranking alone. You also need to know how many people are actually searching for that keyword using Google's keyword tool.

Once you've determined that, a recent study shown that the top result receives a CTR of 18.2% the second result receives 10.05% third 7.22%.

You actually give me the whole idea i am looking for. Next thing to do is on how could I determine if i have the chance to compete with those websites using that particular keyword that I want and how far they already been optimizing that keyword. Thanks Liam! You help me a lot... I am really eager to learn more deeply about SEO and Google algorithm.

The exact number of clicks to any website is only available to the webmaster of the site provided he has signed in with Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics. I wouldn't say they are 100% accurate but they are the most reliable information as compared to the others out there.

So there is no other way to observed clicks on a certain page. But it's ok.. thanks for the great response. It help me a lot with my SEO venture, glad that there are expert who can help me with my concern. See you on another thread.. back to work again..
