I'm a little ashamed I'm even posting here, but this is just frustrating. How can you be trying to F Google without any SEO? If this thread isn't trolling then it really is just dumb as crap. If it is trolling then it's really boring trolling. Now, on to things I should be spending my time on.

It's been only one day since it reached #4 on Big G.

Maybe those hits came from you refreshing your browser when you're tweaking your site lol. Analytics tells you where your traffic is referred from.

This thing happened to me a couple of times this 2011. What was funny is that, I've been in first page for a week or two @ #2-3 spot then after another week, dropped to page 2. then afterwards positioned to spot 40-50. I am not curious about that matter since most new website gets first or second page easily when new. What is just funny is that, I always end up in between 40 to 50 spot before my site was flushed out to 100. lol.

I always get these results from my sites. Does anyone also encountered it?

However, sometimes Google surprises us pleasantly.

Try to get 1 Spot for a keyword with 50.000 - 100.000, then came back, ill be here exactly after 9 days from my Post, to see your Results...

Yeah, it looks like this is happening to me too. I guess Google just bumps new pages to the top. Which is a good thing and should be exploited.

Keywords are the KEY.
I have website ranked #1 for a keyword (74.000 search / month). it ranked #1 after 2 hours from domain registration and WP installation.

Actually I did mean to at the time, I just shouldn't have been so snide. Wrong state of mind at the time that I posted and you were right to retaliate. Sounds like you might just be doing the Google dance. New sites always jump around for me til they settle, then comes the work. Yesterday I fell from #4 down to #8. Seeing this, I thought my poor page was doomed.
But guess who is #3 today!

I will be damned if I know what is going on. Whatever it is, it's good that I'm at least staying on the front page of Google and not dropping down dramatically.
At least for now, that is.

I purchased the hosting 2 months ago. It expires in 1 month because it's a 3 month plan.
If I don't get any revenue form this site until the end of my hosting, I will just dump it.

A quick update: today I'm #4 on Google, #3 on Yahoo, and #2 on Bing.
In other words, I'm still in Top 5 of all three major search engines.

Nothing has been touched on the site. No new backlinks or anything. The old backlinks never took effect anyway. So it's all done without backlinks.

Question here is: how long will this last?

So what if you are #3? Believe me, it wouldn't last long. And I would like to know one thing: how much visits you have on this post? According to your infos, if the exact search is 11000 by month, divided by 30 is approximately 400 a day, so you achieve around 100 visits a day only on this single post. Is this correct?

until now has it produced any revenue? If not, then you are just wasting your time checking its ranking.

What monetizatizing method are your usings. adsense, affiliate marketing?

I can't just "believe you" until I find out by myself. If it was all a matter of believing people, I wouldn't be doing this experiment. I would be just reading people's posts and following them blindly instead.


To answer your questions: I'm getting 35 daily visits for this keyword. That's like 10% of the whole traffic for this search term.
Maybe if I was #1 the traffic would be around 40%.

Small revenue so far but this could be due to the fact that I'm not using a good AdSense-optimized template.
At this stage I only care about the traffic and my SEO rankings.
If I manage to increase them, I will start optimizing my site for AdSense.
