Hello Fellow warriors, so for a couple days now my site was on page 1 (2nd to last). I felt so happy because that was a major accomplishment. And I was just getting more excited to keep going up. Anyways - last night, I was still on page 1, but this morning I'm now on page 2, and 5 ranks down. Sadly enough, that got me really bummed and a huge lost of confidence. I feel as the momentum just shifted, and now I'm in panic mode. Is this normal? Does the Google dance still occur even on page 1? Or did I pick the wrong keywords? How do I get back up on this? Do I double the effort on my backlinks or that doesn't matter? Thanks guys. |

The site is about...2 months old. I should have purchased an old URL for more authority huh?

For sure. Thanks a lot. So speeding up the process won't help at all.

This happened to a page of my site as well and it's also pretty new. So I guess that just means it is normal.

Sounds like the typical Google Dance to me. Just concentrate on content / link building and promotion. Don't forget the social aspect of your site either. YOu should see things stabalize shortly. |

Wait and see the traffic coming to it for the next 2-3 weeks, check the trends and also build links to your site from high authority sites having high PR. This will really help and boost your new site. |

This looks normal to me...what i suggest is that build more links to it slowly since you are not far from Page 1...do not blast 1000 backlinks straightaway as it might back fire you...
