backlinks in profile?

Probably a bit of a basic question; can you get back link 'juice' just by putting your link in the profile of the forum? Or do you have to post something for it to work? I think I remember Angela's saying you shouldn't post.

I don't know about link juice but if they get indexed by search engines....you get backlinks

It works better for me if I ping them after a while

But I think there are alot of online free ping tools

Pinging will make your backlinks noticed by search engines actually.

Don't forget that trust grows through posting and giving out helpful information to someone. People also often read back posts of someone here by checking view all posts to get a sense of the person that they want to buy from.

Put the back links in the profile is very useful and trust worthy way to build the quality backlinks. i would like to recommend you to get the back links from profiles of many authority sites like Google,Hi5,Flicker etc...

These backlinks have been rendered practically useless now.

Concentrate on getting some better quality links and your site will do fine.

Yes you can create back links from forum profile and ping through pinging or any other tools. Make sure it should do follow forum and once after cache those pages you will get back links from them and it's very effective for your websites.

If you are active in that partcular forum then its good but if you have made only for rankings then google will punish u for that by lower your rankings in search engine.
