Went from #1 to number 2,000 to 3,000 in Google for ALL keywords

I was ranking #1 on Google for many keyword phrases which had very little competition and now I find I'm ranked at number 3,000+ in Google for all of them. They all vanished at the same time.

All pages are still indexed in Google but why should multiple rankings suddenly jump from number 1 to position 3000+?

I checked Webmaster tools and they didn't detect any problems with my site.

wow.. what kind of tool are you using that can check rankings all the way up to 2000,3000?

The furthest I know of is just 1000...

hahaha everybody is getting effected by Google panda update, except me. Actually you did something wrong in the near future or maybe in the past that's why you have been punished by big G.

Now open up your Google Analytics and see what what is wrong with your website for you to deserve the punishment.

Google Panda can be your greatest friend if you treat it as such.

Gosh, how does google know that he's going to do something wrong in the future!? Scary

Anyway, I think you should just keep adding quality content and backlinks, if your site isn't de indexed, it'll probably come back

I didn't need to build backlinks as every page went straight to position #1 without them as there was no competition.

The site is a few weeks old so and since Webmaster Tools didn't find anything wrong it can't be a penalty so you're probably right it's a Google dance.

Two years ago I had a site that did this and the pages would suddenly re-appear every so often for 24 hours only before disappearing again.

How in the world are you checking rankings out to 2000 and 3000? Unless something has changed, Google will only display 1000.

If your site is only a few weeks old, I suggest you Google the term "QDF".

That is why your posts were showing up on the first page. You didn't really deserve that high of a ranking to start with.

When did this happen? Give it some time, and see if it comes back. Continue your backlinking to the pages that were affected, and check your on-page optimization.

Make sure you mask your affiliate links. Failing to do this caused me 3 weeks of no traffic and was a real noob error on my part.

Watch out for using certain ads that will cause Google spiders to disregard certain pages on your site.

About 3 days ago the pages lost their rankings. I never do any backlinking as I never need to as my on-page SEO is enough to get page 1 rankings even with competition in the millions.

The pages are all back ranking at #1 most at position 1 again. Must be some sort of trust filter that affects new sites.

My guess is they'll keep disappearing and reappearing for several months until they "stick".

You're saying in the space of 4 hours you fell completely out of the rankings and now you're back to number 1? May I suggest it may be a problem with your rank checking software and not your website ;-)

No 3 days. I check rankings manually. I made a mistake, the pages were on page 30 which is 300+ not 3000+

So they're back at #1 from ranking 300+

They'll probably disappear again in 24 hours from now and repeat this process for a few months. That's what happened with another of my sites.

It's annoying but what can you do?

after Google panda update google start re-indexing all the website on base of their backlinks. if you have quality backlinks for your website with google content then your site will rise on search result. Try to get some contextual backlinks for your website. This will surely help you to optimize your website.

It's just part of the indexing process. When you post/page gets indexed it'll jumo right up there then, when Google decides where you SHOULD BE it'll place you there.

You haven't been de-indexed which is a good thing.

The remedy is to keep adding quality, unique content whilst building steady backlinks. Make sure your internal link structure is good, too.

Time will cure this temporary set-back.

I didn't talked about future, I said in the near past maybe he blasted too many backlinks at-once. Do you know that now a days Google is punishing them by de-indexing the site and de-valuing the backlinks.

You said that you didn't build links, but maybe people are linking to you since you were in the top spots?

You also mentioned that its a new site. New sites will experience more volatility in the rankings than an older preexisting site. How new is your niche/keyword? Is it a "newer" keyword?

Yeah right Sure you can get on top if the keywords you are targeting have no common sense and monthly searches..

Content really is king, but you also need to mix it up with backlinks to get the desired result if there are competing sites that have backlinks and age..

Since your site is more or less new, your number 1 rankings are from that fact. You are in the honeymoon period.. And when that ends you will probably stay in the 2000 area without any additional work done..

maybe when you check the first time you did it wrongly..sometimes my sites just came up first page but drop later to page 3 again...it may have to do with the history i think?...not sure too..so i just ignore it first and take it is from page 3...this will motivate me to work even harder...

The stable rank will be found after time. Don't care about the rank and don't check its everyday. Just make sure you have quality content and keep building link and update. You can't go wrong with unique content.
