Default Social Boorkmaking - How to do it correctly

I have never bookmarked a site, so what is the correct way to bookmark a site without getting into trouble.

I have heard that it should be done manually and do not use software such as bookmarking demon as it can get you banned with google what have you heard about what type of software to use safely with bookmarking or not to use it at all ?

You can't get banned by Google. If you are using a software, you need to use proxies to hide your tracks. People who get into trouble are stupid and use their own IP.

Also if you are using a software like Bookmarking Demon, don't bookmark your main money site. Bookmark articles, Web 2.0 sites, videos etc. and link them to your money site...

The backlinks indexer is a pretty good tool. I use it and it gets rave reviews in the forums. Check it out for yourself.

Since the popular social bookmarking websites like Digg.com has a very large userbase, if a bookmark is favored by many (if it get’s popular that is), then the chances of that website getting traffic from all of those users are very high. Because logically, as more and more people keep bookmarking a website, more and more people are likely to visit the site.

If you are doing social bookmarking submission the manual way, then you need to mention the meta title, meta description, keywords, and the URL of the page.
