Default Google site: command

Google has found my site, as when I use the 'site:www.mysite.com' command, all my pages appear. However, they are still not being returned in the search results when i search for my keyphrases.

What does it take, or how long does it take, until the results will be displayed? Is it simply a waiting game at this stage, or is there something i can do to hurry along the process?

As I understand it you are just in the back end of the search results, as it is a new site with not much authority. Well, to speed up the process (get higher rankings) you should think about on-site and off-site optimization, about which you can read all over the forum.

You need to make sure that your site has good on-page optimization. Then, you'll need to do off-page optimization. A lot of that depends on the keyword competition.

As stated above, there are tons of free info about on-page and off-page optimization, backlinking and seo on this forum. It's not a one-off game.

You'll need to put some effort into trying to rank your site. Don't give up, though. Once you learn how to do it, you'll be able to rank many sites.

Here are two WSOs I found on SEO (no affiliate links whatsoever):

Well, you are forgetting about the millions of other sites already established
on the internet. Why would google suddenly toss those aside in favor
of your masterpiece?

Like people said. Give them a reason, over time, build some authority.

But then, there's still no guarantee of any google love. So your question
really has no answer.

The web hasn't really changed much over the years, as far as seo. Everything seo still revolves around keywords.

You need your keywords in your links anchor-text, page titles, & <h1> tags. Related keywords are also important to help support your main target keywords, both on & off page.

Updating your site with some blog posts can be helpful. Also, if you can write some articles and distribute them around the net, they can be picked up by not only the article directories, but also webmasters looking for good content. Each of these would have a link back to your site. Also study how competitive the keywords are that you are attempting to rank for and if they seem very competitive, consider adding some longtail key phrases. You can study the other results on page 1 of google to see what you are up against in terms of age of domain, number of backlinks, keywords in domain/anchor text etc.

You will still have a long way to go, and before that, I suggest that determine a definition for your site (how many people you have, how big you want it be, how you build long-term plans, etc.) coz sometimes I find a good plan and stratage is much important than a planless hard but useless or repeating works, especially when you are in chaotic group or company with a 'VERY smart' boss. lol..

This result shows your link is indexed by google only...you need to build links to your website in order to rank in the search engine...

Your pages are indexed but not ranking as they aren't worthy of ranking yet.

Make sure your on page stuff is solid and then get building links or outsource them.
