Domain with 550000 exact searches

I found a domain name. It's .org

there are over half a million exact matches for the search term.

It's a 3 word search with no brand name in the search.

Would this be worth much ? - I've not registered it. Just asking.

Oh just to add the CPC is €1.46

Just to add:

Even exact domain matches with around 10k to 20k exact searches are hard to rank (it all depends on competition).

It depends on what your competition is doing, and what you plan to do with the domain. If you are going to make a site with it, you'll go one way. If you plan to sell the site you'll go another way. If you plan to just sell the domain you'd go a whole other way.

It all depends.

don't let those numbers fool you ... you need to dig deeper to get the real numbers of searches. Target your keywords by checking the category box in the left column.

download seoquake software. Search for that term in google. Now checkout the page rank for top 20 sites that are ranking. Check out how many backlinks do they have on their overall site and how many backlinks they have on that page which is ranked out there.

Also check the age of the domain name. Also take a look at the content or no. of pages indexed in google for all these sites. Now take a look at all this and if you feel that you can beat them by doing optimization and getting backlinks by taking average of all these 20 sites, then probably you should go for that domain and get started marketing in that niche.

Don't forget to checkout for content and products in that niche before you dive in...

The domain is not worth much, there are a lot of 1mil+ 2 word keywords out there that haven't been found. I would actually recommend buying it and monetizing it yourself, you'll get much more value out of your discovery rather than selling the domain

Domain names are nothing without good content and a valuable product to sell. Even if you are flipping, the site you put on it needs to be at least mildy successful.
Thats a good tactic for flipping, let the website pay for itself, (cover your hosting, registry and any SEO costs), then every penny you sell it for is pure profit.

Premier League is most certainly a brand name and is trademarked, and Fantasy Premier League, while it may not be trademarked in full, is their exact name for their fantasy league, which is considered a common law trademark as they are already using it as a brand. Before you register, just check where this site stands in regards to it competition. Don't pay for a site for which you would have to work really hard.
