Ranked 22 in 4 days in medium difficulty keywords (what next?)

hey all,

I've created this one website with 5 keywords and each assigned to a single inner page. I did this in order to focus each page for just one keyword.

I've just built this web 4 days ago and have just made several social bookmarks for all the pages (each page only has 10+ social bookmark backlinks and I've not even finished bookmarking all the pages yet)

Here is just what I see as something quite interesting : One of my inner page (not the homepage) is ranked #20+ for one of the keyword which actually is supposed to be the home page's keyword. That's my main keyword and according to traffic travis it's a medium difficulty keyword(on the 1st page there's wikipedia and several authority pages). The keyword itself has 5 million result for broad search.
Can somebody explain this ?

But the most important thing is that since I've found this progress really good (well, I cant be to optimistic as it may only be one of google dances), can somebody of you suggest any backlinking method that is suitable for my site?
Should I increase my backlinking frequency ? Am I supposed to make a PR ? or start slowly by commenting on some blogs ?

Please,and I'd really appreciate all of your suggestion especially for free method,, I'm still a newcomer with less experience and knowledge in this industry but I'm really eager to learn from all the warriors here.
