Keyword Rank Tool: What do you use?

I like to keep track of my search engine rankings (maybe a bit of an obsession) but all the programs I use only keep track of the keywords that I tell it to.

My question is... Is there a program/site that will let you enter a domain name and will give you all the keywords that are showing up in the serps for that particular url?...

What you ask is impossible! There are indefinite number of keywords to potentially compete in! However, there are great programs to check multiple keywords you provide simultaneity: I use Internet Business Promoter.

i use market samurai. this is good. Wordtracker is also good but have used it only briefly. Google keyword research tool is also good. It is free. If you have a gmail account / analytic account, it can give upto 800 keyword suggestions.

I don't think it is impossible... Why would it be.... even if your site is showing up for thousands of long tailed keywords...

Is there any sort of search querry that can be used through google for example?

Like checking indexed pages.....but for keyword index?

i am also seeking this kind of tools. i managed several sites for my clients and i have to check the keyword ranking in every two weeks. it takes me hours to do the checking. i used some browser based apps but it does not seem to work, the ranking position is not as exactly as in SERP. if some one know , feel free to share, thanks in advance.

I have the same obsession. I think most marketers do. There is no tool that I know of that will do what you're looking for. Although google webmaster tool is pretty close. Not enough people use it in my opinion. It shows you impressions, clicks, avg position etc. for every keyword that has appeared on the search results.

Google webmaster tools shows what keywords your site is showing up in, and whether you are trending up or down in those keywords.

Lets say that your site is showing up in a search for "widgets" google webmaster tools will show you if your ranking is going up or down for "widget", and by how much your ranking has gone up or down.

Man if you find such tool please share it. I think that every warrior will want a tool capable of doing that. For now I use market samurai and SEscout to track my rankings.

Best thing to do is view the source..of the site and check the meta tags..
It will give you not a list of the keywords they rank for but keywords they are trying to index for.

But I think there are spy tools that will give you the information that you are looking for.

I am using Marketing samuri for local or geotargeted Keyword.
For Global targeted Keyword I use traffic travis, google keyword external tool and link assistant.

semrush is really what you need. Enter your domain and see your keywords, but if you use free version, you will get only partial list.

Adwords goolge and wordtracker are the best keywords suggestion tools. Its avail online so you can use and find more related keywords by this tools. more over you can check online the search engine keyword ranking and position for any keyword in the major search engines.

they are like 70 to 90 dollars per month

they will tell you all the kws that sites rank for
and what rank they have for those kws

Example you list the site

www.bigpillows.com

they will give you a list like this

big pillows 1
big fat pillows 5
pillow discounts 3

this is a list of each kw the site ranks for and what position on google that the site ranks for those kws

This could also be EXTREMELY helpful to webmasters like us because

1. it will tell you where you are ranking on google for kws you didnt even know you were ranking for

2, you can then go SEO your site for those kws so that you can now be pulled up higher on google for those kws, (thus increasing traffic)
