Anyone Have Success With SEO Powersuite To Rank There Site!

I used SEO PowerSuite & Spyglass to analise my top competitor using my main keyword.

In the report it's telling me how to optimize my site & where to get backlinks what keywords
to use etc to get a top ten listing
in Google.

Is SEO PowerSuite reliable & should I start doing the optimizing it recommends for my site.

Anyone have success with the recommendation's that Spyglass is telling me to do & have
gotten results & a top ten listing by doing what it says.

I think that some tips are decent but again you should realize that this is simply a software product - it doesn't know your website niche and doesn't know exactly what to do.

on average yes the tips are pretty decent, but i'd take all the tips by a software product with a grain of salt, or verify them with other sources, or test them out on some other site before implementing any sizable changes to my site's SEO.

the bottom line, seo tools dont replace your knowledge of seo or your judgement.

you may benefit from going to google webmaster forums and verifying the techniques suggested by spyglass, and read google's search engine optimization starters guide, its a concise, 30-page read on SEO basics.

I use SEO Spyglass, but I never really look at their recommendation, since I know what I'm doing. However, just looked at their report, out of curiosity - looks fair. If you don't know where to start, you can follow those tips
