Tip Beginners: How to find and analyse keywords for SUPER EASY rankings... Enjoy!

Hey guys

Just made a video for my new Youtube account and I thought I'd share it here.

It'll show you how to find and analyse keywords that have little to no competition (basically meaning super easy rankings and tons of traffic as a result!)

This method btw is 100% free so that said and done... Enjoy!

Hope it helps!

That is the way I have been doing my key word research. Good to see that someone agrees that I am doing it right.

Really glad you found this video when you really needed it.

Regarding your question. There is a paid version but everything I showed you in the video can be accessed 100% free of charge in the free version of Traffic Travis.

I find Traffc Travis to be inaccurate sometimes. I just use SEOQuake to analyze the top 10.

MS in my opinion is a better tool as it allows you to do a deeper analysis than TT. It allows you to analyse where your competition getting their backlinks, what they're anchored with etc.

However you have to pay to still access MS after the trial is over and I wanted to make a video for people who are starting out you didn't have the budget to invest in tools yet.

Nice little video mate. Just got to say though... with the recent Youtube crackdown, isn't starting a new account with videos about SEO and links to a "make money" site in the description a bit of a gamble?

I would like to add 2 things here:

1. In case you don't have Traffic Travis you can also use SERP Attacks. Its as good as Traffic Travis if not better and you can use keyword analysis for free in that too.

2. While searching for niche for newbies you can use Advance Options and Filters to get better results that could help you pick a niche faster rather than scrolling through 800 keywords.

I do not know the direct answer to that, all I know is people are actually searching for this kinda stuff on Google and Youtube everyday and it's their job to give the end user what they want.

Personally I think it's quality little video that's full of content for anyone wanting to learn how to do keyword research so it's not spam.

Plus I'm not plugging anything either so it's not promotional at all.

Yes I know it isn't anything groundbreaking but that wasn't the point of the video.

The whole point was to help people who don't know how to do keyword research and show them step by step on how to do it.

Hi James. Got home a little while ago and watched the video on proper keyword research.

Ok I have alooooot of questions. Are you ready? LoL

Ok so I notice you used traffic travis. I downloaded the latest version which is v4.1.0.4188

When I click on SEO it starts displaying a demo video. So I can not use the example you used on your video. Therefor I can not follow along.

Ok second question. What does the "s" stands for in BLS.
I know that BL stands for backlinks but don't know what BLS is for. The numbers on each row are different. So I want to know if I should be concern about the BLS numbers.

Ok third question. How important is to have the actual keyword I want to rank for in the actual domain name?

Ok fourth question. What the heck is a H1 Tag. Are there also more than one, like for example H2, H3, etc...? What is this, how does my keyword relate to this? Where and how should I put my keyword in an H1 Tag? Very confused, sorry I am new to all of this.

Ok fifth question. If I see the keyword page rank1, lets say 20 backlinks, and evrything else has red checkmarks, does that mean I can easily outrank them if I build a wordpress site, keyword domain optimized, H1 Tag optimized, whatever that is, lol, double my backlinks in this case 40 backlinks, lets say 50 to be on the safe side, and DMOZ, Yahoo, Title Description and H1 Tag all have green check marks? Will this be good or great?

Ok sixth question: Is all of this consider on page seo? Except for my purchasing some edu and gov backlinks right? That would be off page seo, am I correct?

Ok seventh question. What the heck is DMOZ? And how do I build my site so it can have a green check mark on it using traffic travis?

Ok 8th question. How come I see Yahoo and not Google in traffic travis? I thought this software was pulling information from the google keyword?
tool?

Ok 9th question, do you want to be my mentor? I doubt it as you can see I asked alooot of questions that no else in here does. Maybe they all know the answers to this questions already.

Hope to hear from you!

PR can easily be outranked, even PR5
if the backlinks to the page are extremely low

Traffic travis green red etc indicators can sometimes be highly inaccurate

Wow! There's A LOT of questions! I'll do me best to answer them.

First thing of the bat is I'll do you is at the time of watching the video, Traffic Travis 3 was free to download obviously they've discontinued it which is a shame as it was really cool software

I can't remember of the top of my head but I do know what it means. It basically means how many backlinks are pointing back to the overall site... Not just to the page you're currently analyzing for how competitive it is.

A high number will suggest that the sight could be an authority website meaning they rank well for a lot of keywords with little to no effort.

You can tell if they're ranked for that position purely of authority if they have poor on-page SEO.

The BLS data isn't as important as the BL data but like I said, it does help to indicate if the site is authority site.

This use to be a really powerful method but it's been abused like hell so Google toned down the power of it. It still works well and it'll give you a good headstart but somebody with better onpage/offpage SEO will outrank you.

Ok fourth question. What the heck is a H1 Tag. Are there also more than one, like for example H2, H3, etc...? What is this, how does my keyword relate to this? Where and how should I put my keyword in an H1 Tag? Very confused, sorry I am new to all of this.
H tags are basically what you put into the body of your article and they act as subtitles.

SEO wise they have little effect on ranking but they are worth putting in... Just make sure to put your keywords in them.

Nine times out of ten... Yes, as you're simply beating it in every criteria.

The only thing I will say, and Traffic Travis dosen't do this (Well version 3 anyway) is the strengh of backlinks. Normally a handfull few of high PR backlinks could equal a few hundred low strengh backlinks.

Ok sixth question: Is all of this consider on page seo? Except for my purchasing some edu and gov backlinks right? That would be off page seo, am I correct?
Apart from the BL, BLS, Dmoz and Yahoo... Yes

Ok seventh question. What the heck is DMOZ? And how do I build my site so it can have a green check mark on it using traffic travis?
Dmoz is a site directory and apparently it's super hard to get accepted in there, but my advice to you is ignore that data as the chances of getting listed in there is very low.

Ok 8th question. How come I see Yahoo and not Google in traffic travis? I thought this software was pulling information from the google keyword?
tool?
I think you're referring to the Yahoo directory. If so, read what I said in the last answer I put about Dmoz.

Hope this helps!

Awlsome video. the software has been updated to v4 but it did not take me long to see how to do what you are doing.

click on SEO tab
click the competition link at the top

the result is just a summary
to the right you can click on the report and see everything in the video. some things are different age is replaced with authouirty and so forth

I will be testing it out!!

The way I do my keyword research is like this.

I do some research for a hot product. I make sure is a buyer's keyword to promote adsense and amazon product.

Then I get the seed keyword and go to google keyword tool

I select exact matches. You must be sign in to see the cpc!

Then I search by high competition and global searches. Just because a keyword has high competition and huge exact global searches doesn't mean you can not rank on the first position.

What I do next is go to market samurai and put that keyword into a new project. Then I go to the seo competition to analize my top competition.

Here is a little trick that I know it works great and most people ignore this big time! Backlinks, edu backlinks, age domain, page rank means nothing!

I know this for sure because I have 2 new sites right now that have huge traffic, no backlinks, no page rank, no age domain, no referring domain, no nothing and I am in position 1 for my keyword and beating the rest. How you may ask?

I did this by experimenting and doing the steps above.

Ok now that I pointed that out, the only thing you need to do in market samurai in the seo competition is make sure that the top 3 do not have the keyword in the title, url, description and head. That is all you have to do to beat them by having your site with good content and well on page seo optmized in those 4 fields. Believe me you won't need a single backlink.

My sites are getting good adsense revenue by doing this steps. If the fields are red, discard this keyword, go back to google keyword tool and move on to the second highest keyword with search volume and start the process over in market samurai.

I wish someone would of explain this to me years ago, but I learn this all by myself and is a awesome little trick that will make you getting targeted traffic for your keyword fast!

Enjoy!
