[ASK] Google Sitemaps

I have a question about submitting sitemaps using Google's webmasters tools.

I submitted a sitemap with 50 urls on Aug 15, the site shows in the profile, each day the downloaded date is updated, and is currently showing that 48 of the url's are in the web index (according to the webmaster tools sitemap). But when I do a site:xxxx.com search on Google there are 0 results

Am I rushing things, or should at least some of these urls be showing up by now. So far I'm not worried about ranking, I'd just like to know that the site is actually being indexed. Do I need to delete & resubmit or wait?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hmm... usually it don't take that long... well at least for my site, maybe you try doing a ping at pingomatic.com and see if there's any changes. =D no harm trying! =D
