Every post you make on your site should be about 500 words or more. Combining pages won't help. Is it a blog about a certain product? are the pages you are talking about actually blog posts? a little more information would help as we cannot see your site. Adding quality content regularly is the best way to get google to notice you. Any other information you could give us would help.

oh,,,that's not the way to imporve,,,both the number of the pages, and if the content is useful for viewer and searching engine itself are important.

It is not suggested to simply make 2 into 1, you can spend more time while building or writing a page, always remeber that a good content is the most important thing for everybody.

If you do want more pages created in a short time and you only have few people working on it, then you can think about the following way:
1. Find the content you wish to write about in other languages, then translate it directly manually or by software.
2. Do a copy writng wisely, not a 100% simple copy and paste.

Sometimes SEO work is very hare as we only have one people and 24 hours per day, nothing more!

What do you mean by too thin?as in the word count?

I would suggest you write a longer article...as a reader they wish to read more information...just put yourself in the mindset of the reader and you will understand more..
