How do you Social Bookmark

I use Socialmarker.com for my personal blog, but when it comes to micro niche sites, is it still appropriate to submit articles for social bookmarking just for link backs?

If so, how many do ya'll usually submit? 5-10? 50?

And any specific ones?

Nothing is too much...just do abit of everything for backlinks as this will make it look natural to google...

Most of us could not tell you how much is needed...you need to see what is your aim?if your aim is to take the top spot, then look at how much backlinks you need to replace them...from there, break down the numbers and built it over a few days...

some sites need 50 while some sites may need 1000s...depending on the keyword you wish to target..hope this help..

I don't use social bookmarking all that much, but for my first niche site I noticed I'm not picking up any backlinks. About 3 days ago I submitted to 7-10 social bookmarks, but nothing as of yet.

Is this pretty typical? I don't want to register for another 20 sites if the links aren't going to stick.

EDIT: I've never really checked to see if my personal blog picks up the links, it's never been my primary focus for bookmarking. With the micro niche site it's about all I'm concerned with, to get the top spot.

Bookmarking is a good way to generate quick traffic for a website but the only required thing is that you should be careful while selecting any category.

Social Book Marking is one of the effective way to get both traffic and SERP, 7-10 is not enough what I think. It should be more than 700 -1000+

Glad to see you here. Those social bookmarking sites are famous like you said. It really helps in bringing traffic to the websites but just be reminded that always becareful when social bookmark our own website or posts. They are like police watching what are we doing.

Post your site using tags or keywords so as to categorize or organize.

So therefore first make sure you get the best keywords!

I have accounts on Google, delicious, Digg, Stumbleupon but I prefer Google bookmarks because it's integrated with my Google account.
