Site Review Help With SEO

I humbly submit my site for review. The site has been up for about 2 years, has regular good, fresh content. Was a PR2 and then suddenly was downgraded to a PR1???? We average about 40 visitors per day, 600 - 700 uniques per month. We have plans for the development of this business but can't move forward until we build up traffic. We have started internal linking, did a big social bookmarking activity but frankly I am a bit lost on backlinking which I know is important. Any thoughts will be graciously accepted.

PR doesn't mean good ranking. Stop focusing on it and keep on bookmarking and backlinking. If you're lost, hire a professional backlinker, buy packages...

Julien is right, what you need is find more targeted keywords, especially those long tail keywords that are highly targeted with high conversion.

Thanks KK for sending me to your very informative forum post. Great stuff laid out in a really systematic way. I still need help understanding the whole backlinking thing. Besides posting on other forums and blogs I get lost. I'll get there!
