To make more money. The more strict and confusing they make SEO the more businesses will pay them to advertise. Google is out to make money not provide an easy way to SEO a website. |

Because they're on their never ending quest to create a search engine that not only brings you the best possible results... But to stop spammers and SEOers gaming their search engine as well. They'll never get there though. Soon as they bring out a new algo, people find out how to game it and it's back to the drawing board. James Scholes |

Google updates its algorithms is to reduce rankings for low-quality sites, which are low-value, or really have no value for users, which copy content from other sites. On the other hand ,google will provide better rankings for high-quality sites, with original content and info such as research, reports, analysis etc.

For making their system acceptable to every body, they need to change their algorithms. If they do not do this, then their system will be cropped by spammers. It is necessary for honest webmasters.

Google really does mostly just focus on the quality of search results for the 99% of average search joes out there, we as warriors represent a small % of the online community, whilst they work on methods to prevent manipulation of their results, the focus is still mostly of giving quality results for their users to keep the adwords gravy train at full steam ahead.

This was included from their official blog “This update is designed to reduce rankings for low-quality sites—sites which are low-value add for users, copy content from other websites or sites that are just not very useful. At the same time, it will provide better rankings for high-quality sites—sites with original content and information such as research, in-depth reports, thoughtful analysis and so on. We can’t make a major improvement without affecting rankings for many sites. It has to be that some sites will go up and some will go down. Google depends on the high-quality content created by wonderful websites around the world, and we do have a responsibility to encourage a healthy web ecosystem. Therefore, it is important for high-quality sites to be rewarded, and that’s exactly what this change does.” There are many theory sites that will go into detailed explanations of algorithms; this however giving you a working explanation of Panda I think would be understandable enough. |

Google constantly updates its algorithms to improve the search engine results for users. If they stuck to the same algorithm google wouldnt be as good as it is today.

Anyone see now they will/have been using Google +1 in their Algorithm to rate websites? They are business first last and always. They do NOT pay programmers to rank sites except to make money. They only make money when a company uses Pay for Clicks and Adwords. It is in their best interest to keep the rankings confusing so more people pay them for adwords. You see the uproar when Google +1 starts taking over as the main way they rank sites and all these SEOs we have done mean very little compared to just a few months ago. |

Google has single-minded focus on constantly improving user experience in searching information on the internet. Due to increasing popularity of SEO techniques and manipulation of Google's established algorithms some people try fooling visitors.
