OK, you can tell from the question that I'm a newbie so be gentle with me please . . . I have one adsense account, one analytics account and 3 websites. I placed the appropriate analytics code just before </head> on all 3 sites and the tracking is working OK. I've now linked my adsense and analytics accounts and am confused where to place my adsense-analytics code snippet or whether I now have to move my analaytics snippet. I'm finding it very difficult to determine EXACTLY where I should place the two code snippets. Unfortunately I don't have enough posts on WF to put links in my post but one page on adsense help says to add analytics tracking snippet just before </body> yet another page says just before </head> First is for traditional and second mentions asynchronous? I think the code I have is asychronous so I've placed it just before </head> and it appears to be working OK. OK, now I need to know where to place my adsense analytics code and google help pages says they must be in a specific order with the analytics code last. ?????? HELP! Can someone please tell which code I have and where I should place each code snippet. Cheers, John |

Footer might be a better choice. I don't know why, but most people put analytics code there.

I am actually interested in knowing a answer to this as well. I use a plugin to insert Analytics but I don't know where to add the Adsense snippet code they give you after I linked Adsense with Analytics. Anyone? |
