i have had things show up the next day... page two for targeted keyword... depends on the keyword and competition

Depends on how many quality backlinks you have built using that keyword and how strong your competitors are, I've seen new sites come from nowhere to the top of page 1 in several weeks if you know what you're doing.

if you do right kind of work in right way then it will take a month to get ranking in 1000 but it entirely depends on strategy and efforts

I have also had tons of keywords show up on page one within a few days using just on page SEO. These are keywords with several thousand searches a month and in the medium difficulty range for competition. Its depend upon how much time you spend on SEO working. In my point of view it make 3 or 4 month easily.
