Can Autoblogs rank high on Google?

I have several autoblogs and I want them to rank on Google based on the keywords I select (who doesn't?). However, I am wondering if Google will penalize the sites because it's an autoblog and because it has duplicate content.

So I am seeking advice as to is it possible to rank on Google with an autoblog or should I mix it with unique content once in a while? I will be building backlinks to the pages I want to rank.

I am currently using WP-Robot to run the blog and try to make it as natural as possible with a mixture of content and videos.

If the autoblog is being feed with 100% unique, high quality content then yes it will work well in tandem with a strong and consistent back linking campaign.

The whole purpose of an autoblog is that its being fed with content that already exists on the web, so it can't be unique.

However, what you can do is first post up some unique articles optimized for your respective chosen keywords. This is done to get some good reputation going in your site. Then you can start autoblogging to create newly fresh content so Google will get the impression your site is always fresh, thus give a better rank even though it's not unique content.

hi kirils, but when google found you are using duplicate content then google will penalize your site by lowering your serp. Its better if in autoblog we can give refrence to orignal post it will helps us to gain ranking according to me. google differentiate between syndicate content and copied content

It isn't duplicate content as it's not under the same domain, but yeah you're right, autoblogging posts should include a link to the original content to indicate it was syndicated.

An autoblog DOES NOT mean none unique content. It can be fed content that is unique up to a certain point; spun content; or content that is mashed like UAW.

As long as it is readable and unique enough that google still likes it, then there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to rank.

However, you are going to have to go to each of these pages and double check their ON PAGE SEO. Without some good solid on page SEO then it is going to be hard to get pass the sites that do have it coupled with their off page seo.

If you have the blog set up so that it automatically creates backlinks for you, then you will have a good start on the off page seo factor. Since it is an autoblog you are of course going to try and make it all as automated as much as possible.
