I have one .co site. It's been indexed for a couple of months but it's nowhere to be found in the serps. I'd say it's your call.

ranking is entirely depends on your efforts and strategy. if you want to get rank well in search engine then do usual link building to gain top search engine ranking but try to get links from authoritative domain (Should have some pagerank and content)

I recently read all of these domains were de-indexed, or at least slapped so hard ranking was impossible. Have fun with that.

P.S the signature leads to my little bro's website. ![]() I've recently renewed my desire to work on some niche sites. I've made a couple of bucks here and there but not much. I've recently come across some pocket change to continue working on my websites. I have been coming across some very good keywords and i see .Co domains are available for them, i wanna know what the warrior forum thinks about this. Should i buy .CO's? or are they going to be hard to rank?

Google claims they mainly focus on content quality. But from my experience I notice that .com .net and .org rank a little quicker and seem to carry a little more weight. The others I have tried take a little bit longer but eventually do rank just as well.

Complete misinformation. Probably getting mixed up with the person that owned the domain .co.cc... Quite the contrary. .co domains carry a premium. It is (was) supposed to be the next best thing since .com, and even take it over. I have yet to see this, but it is a viable alternative. I would not put those domains in a print ad. I always felt people would add an "m" to the end. Paul

.co is geo for Columbia. So I would even value it less than even .info. However if you get a good domain you can get the mistype of the .com, which is a bonus |
