Hostgator Hosting/ WPD question for you all

Im running a micro-niche blog site that i just started about a month ago, I'm starting to build backlinks and great content, I just wanted to know if anyone is familiar with installing a new site thru WPD and hostgator, I would like to know step by step how to go about doing that. I tried add-on domain and went into wpd with the info but it didn't seem to work. any info would be awesome, Thanks!

So you have a domain what you'd like to set to the hostgator hosting. Make sure you have at least a Baby plan and then set your domain name servers if you purchased it from Godaddy or other place and then just jump into the Cpanel in Hostgator and use fantastico for quick installation.

I'm checking wpdirect.com , I guess this is what you meant. I'm not sure why do you need them when you can install WP from fantastico in few easy steps. WP sites are usually nicely optimized for SEs. But you can install additional SEO plug ins (you can visit this link WordPress SEO - The Definitive Guide to WordPress SEO, you can download pdf of WP seo check list from here.
