Just an FYI for those who have such sites. Google is looking and putting out a call for others to let them know when they see a scraper site. Google Looking For Scraper Sites |

This is the reason that I have always felt that ANY automated/bot type of sites are not long term reliable - because google, etc. will probably eventually figure it out, etc. Robert |

Funny, I read that exact same article today !Yes, scraper sites are just clogging up search results and sometimes rank higher than the original sites which is not fair. That's why they want to make an end to this and Google is so right! The author writing the article should get the credit and higher rankings instead of the "copy" scraper site. The quality of Google’s search results should be maintained and with this news update and the Panda update I have faith that Google will get it right. Hopefully the algorithm changes will make some drastic changes concerning this issue. Have a great weekend everybody |

Not sure how they will manage this. Some of these sites get indexed more quickly than those with the original content. The only thing they can do is to rank sites with 100% original content higher than those that use only dupe content. They already do this to some extent anyway. |
