Default What's The Safest Way To Promote A New Blog & Not Get Sand boxed By Google!

I've got a wordpress blog that I'm going to try & get a top ten ranking
in Google for a keyword.

I've heard so much about Google banning new sites for bookmaking to fast
new domain names, bad linking etc.

The blog will be listing what's on sale for a major us retailer and most
of the content & pictures will be copied from there site.

How should I go about promoting this blog, I know most of the reasons
for Google's new panda update but not all.

Should I bookmark & ping each post or wait & bookmark a whole
category I will be posting a lot of items & I don't want it to seem like spam.

What's the safest way to promote my site at facebook & twitter to
build links back to my site & not look like I'm spamming Google.

Don't copy content from any site, that will increase your chances of being slapped and prevent high rankings, just focus first on producing quality 100% unique content, then issue some press releases, some social bookmarking, some articles, slowly and evenly then you can add some high powered links for the final push once you appear in the top 5 pages for your target keywords, keep everything consistent, diversified and as natural as possible, don't ever blast 1000s of links at a new domain.

Yeah, make sure you've got original content, and lots of it. Post-Panda, sites that do well are the ones with >1000 words of content on each page.

As for avoiding the sandbox, use varied anchors and don't build too many links too fast. High quality links and link diversity will also help keep you in the rankings.

This is going to be a coupon site & there's no way I can write a 1,000 word description for each coupon.

Should I try & write 1,000 word articles instead of hundreds of 1,000
word coupon descriptions would that keep Google happy.
