I was curious if anyone on here has created videos for Adsense and Amazon affiliate sites? I know it can work for other sites but what about these? What strategy did you use?

You could do reviews for specific products and direct them to your site for the "full review"

I saw a video just yesterday showing a very good looking girl modelling what appeared to be lingerie. There was a link in the video description, that sent the site visitor to an Amazon.com product page with aff-link intact. I would say useful. |

I have read about two possible strategies: 1. Is where you build some nice videos for youtube that link to your site or Amazon and build links to these videos so they can show up on the first page of Google. Youtube links are no follow so the real value for them is foot traffic. 2. Build a number of different videos where you slightly change the beginning and submit these to the different video sites that are dofollow. In this way, I would think it would be similar to submitting spun articles to different article directories. I think their biggest value is through link juice rather than foot traffic as nobody normally uses these other video directories. Has anybody tried these strategies before? What advice do you have? |

On a scale of 1 to 10... and 10 being successful.. i would say 10 for amazon affiliate sites. Make an attractive headline related to the product you are promoting and an irresisitable offer to get your visitors to watch your short video and click your link. The videos are 27% of my income from amazon affiliate sites. List building and seo are 40%

Another thing I wonder about is how good do these videos need to be for these sites? Will it be fine to be making these things with powerpoint and one of the basic services like Jing or Animato or should they be of higher quality where I am spending some coin on each one? I would be curious to know what people on here have found works best or what has not worked for them
